Meet Dr. Duncan

Dr. Duncan believes that great dentistry begins with genuine relationships. Known for his calm demeanor and compassionate approach, he is committed to helping every patient feel comfortable, respected, and truly cared for from the moment they walk through the door.

He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama and his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). There he received a strong clinical foundation and developed a passion for comprehensive, patient-centered care. For the last 10 years, he has remained committed to ongoing education and clinical excellence to ensure his patients receive the highest quality dentistry in a modern, comfortable setting. His dedication to family dentistry even earned him recognition as Favorite Adult Dentist by Birmingham Parent Magazine in 2025, an honor that reflects the trust he has established within the community.

As a family-centered husband and father, Dr. Duncan understands the importance of finding a dental home where patients feel known and cared for. He and his wife, Kelley, have been married since 2013 and are blessed with two energetic boys who keep life full of joy, adventure, and perspective. He especially enjoys caring for families across generations and considers it a privilege to build lasting relationships based on trust, honesty, and exceptional care.

Dr Duncan is an active member of his church, serving as a kindergarten Sunday school teacher, preschool worship leader, and an adults group leader. His approach to dentistry is guided by his Christian faith and a deep commitment to serving others with integrity. He takes the time to listen, answer questions, and develop personalized treatment plans that prioritize each patient’s health, comfort, and long-term well-being. His goal is never to simply treat teeth, but to care for the whole person with empathy and respect.

Outside the office, Dr. Duncan enjoys spending time with his wife and children, serving his church and community, and making memories with family and friends. Most of the time you can find him cheering on his boys in their many extracurricular activities. Often, he is spending time with extended family in various parts of North Alabama. Whenever possible though, he loves spending time outdoors, particularly hiking, fly fishing, and playing golf. 

Dr. Duncan is honored to continue the legacy of this practice and is grateful for the opportunity to serve this community. He looks forward to welcoming you and your family, earning your trust, and helping you achieve a healthy, confident smile for years to come!

    Jamie F

    Dental Assistant

    Jamie was born and raised right here in Alabaster, graduating from Thompson High School in 2008 before completing the Alabama Dental Hygiene Program in 2010. Her passion for dentistry began at just 17 years old, and we have had the absolute pleasure of having her as a vital part of our team for over 12 years.

    Known for her always smiling face, Jamie brings a warm, radiating positivity to our office that puts patients at ease the moment they walk through the door. For Jamie, exceptional patient care goes far beyond excellent clinical skills; it is about building trust and creating a comforting, stress-free environment. She takes great pride in making sure every individual feels completely relaxed, safe, and valued during their visit.

    Jamie is married to her high school sweetheart, and they are blessed with two wonderful children. Together, they share their love for music and community by serving as Music Ministers at their church.

    Registered Dental Hygienist

    Deborah joined our dental Team five years ago bringing over 23 years of clinical experience as a registered dental hygienist. She’s passionate about preventative care and patient education and she uses the latest techniques to deliver personalized top, tear treatment in a welcoming environment. She specializes in making nervous patients feel entirely at ease with her caring and calm nature. 

    Outside of clinical practice, Deborah enjoys spending time with her husband, camping, hiking and traveling to new destinations.
